Abstract submission/registration is closed!

To attend the EGPD2024, please submit an abstract before 23:59 CET 23rd Feb 2024, Submission guidelines are given below. The abstract template can be downloaded using the dedicated link. Furthermore, instructions on how to request a visa letter are also provided.

Submission guidelines

All participants must submit an abstract and are expected to present their work in poster sessions during the conference. Registration is FREE of charge! For submitting and abstract please follow these guidelines:

  • Include the title of your poster, authors, and author's affiliations.
  • The body of your abstract should not exceed 300 words.
  • The abstract should be sent as a word document.
  • Include a topic from the list. If your topic is related to Geothermal energy but does not fit any of the topics, you are most welcome to submit under the ‘Other’ category.
  • Default format is a Poster (A0 Portrait) including 1–2-minute pitch. Some might be selected for a longer presentation.
  • How to submit:

  • Send an email to EGPD2024@tudelft.nl with the title: Abstract Name Category (Example: Abstract Tina Keesen, shallow geothermal
  • In the email indicate your name, year of PhD, affiliation and if you would be open to giving a longer presentation.
  • Indicate if your abstract may not be put on the website.
  • Indicate if you are interested in joining the Delft Geothermal Challenge.

    Please note that a submission of an abstract is seen as a registration for the EGPD. We count on it that you will come. We encourage everyone that wants to join to submit an abstract. If for some reason you cannot, you can email us to see if you can still join

    By focusing on networking activities, COST Actions help to advance knowledge and strengthen the research and development sector, by creating networking opportunities for researchers to meet and discuss ideas, complex problems can be addressed in a targeted way, across a large geographical area.

  • Go to: e-services.cost
  • Create an account
  • Upload your CV
  • Click on Cost actions > Grant application > + Apply for grant
  • Apply for the ‘ITC Conference grant’ (if you are affiliated with an IT country ) or ‘Dissemination Conference grant’ (for all other countries)
  • Applications are open until the start of the EGPD 2024 (03-04-2024).

    Privacy

  • By submitting your abstract, you agree that we will process some of your data. We will always follow the privacy policy of TU Delft .
  • The data that we collect is the content of your email. We will only use the data for the of the EGPD (think of name tags, emailing back, saving abstracts etc.).
  • We will not share the data with any other parties or companies.
  • We may put the abstracts, including author names and affiliations, on our website, unless indicated otherwise.
  • The website will be taken offline September 2024.
  • We will not keep any personal data after the EGPD.
